Our Child Development Center is looking to hire a Program Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day operation of the Center. Our staff is a caring and closely knit group. Please consider joining our team!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROGRAM COORDINATOR:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children. OR
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children. OR
• An associate degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children. OR
• An associate degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 4 years of experience with children.

• Prior experience working with special needs children (ages birth to 8) preferred.
• Current valid PA driver’s license and acceptable driving record obtained through the PA Department of Transportation required.
• Acceptable Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and FBI clearances required.
• Acceptable results from the National Sexual Offenders Registry required.
• Passing of physical examination and TB required.

HOURS/BENEFITS

• The Program Coordinator is a full-time position M-F 8:00 am-5 pm, 40 hours per week, one-hour unpaid lunch at the hourly rate of $17.00. The position comes with an excellent benefit package valued at an additional $6K per year (health, dental and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, paid time off, life and disability insurance.)
